Types of household woodworking machines
Despite its great functionality, woodworking machines are divided into several main types. Sawing machine

It is used for sawing sheet wood materials: plywood, chipboard, fiberboard, boards, etc. The main difference from the circular saw is the presence of several variants of saw tools: Strip saw. It is a set of metal saw strips. Thus, it becomes possible to cut a plurality of preforms at a time. Not very common in domestic use due to its large dimensions.
Disc saw. With the help of a disc saw, high accuracy and accuracy of the cut is achieved. Machines can be equipped with several disc saws at once. Flexible saw. With its help, fast and high-quality sawing of curved billets is ensured. Depending on the complexity of the desired shape of the product, various types of flexible saws are used: rope, chain or belt.

Regardless of the type of cutting tool, many machine configurations are available on the market. Large stationary machines are not the best solution. Preference should be given to units with sliding tables located in the middle price segment. The functionality of cheap units is so scarce that they can be replaced by simple manual power tools.

When buying, you should pay attention to the following key technical parameters:
Cut depth. The most important parameter that largely determines the price of the machine. The speed of rotation of the saw blade. In the vast majority of cases, machine tools with disc saws are used for domestic use. The higher the speed of its rotation, the higher the performance of the machine.

Additional options. The presence of additional clips and a calibrated line on the desktop are very important and convenient bonuses.
This type of machine is designed for high-precision planing of wooden blanks. By default, workshops use two types of machines:

• Fogoval allows you to get a flat surface.
• Reismus ensures the specified thickness of the workpiece.

After machining in the combined version of the machine, the boards acquire a perfectly even surface, and their thickness becomes equal along the entire length.
This is achieved by combining 2-4 cutting blades located above and below the plane of the workpiece. When moving forward, the machine operates as a fugank, carefully leveling the surface, and when moving in the opposite direction, the lower racemus knives come into operation, providing a given thickness of the workpiece.

Domestic and industrial versions of the machines differ in power, speed of operation and width of the workpiece being processed. A small 220-volt machine will be sufficient to carry out single utility work. The price of the machine depends on the fame of the manufacturer's brand, as well as the quality of the materials from which the actuators and cutting knives are made. It will be difficult for an inexperienced person to assess the difference between different models, so you should resort to careful review before buying.
