Transportation of timber
Forest is a natural raw material that is used in various industries, primarily for the production of lumber. It is necessary to organize the transportation of felled and primarily treated tree trunks to places of further processing. For this, various types of transport are used:
• railway,
• automobile,
• water.
Each option has its pros and cons.
Timber transportation by rail
Taking into account all the factors, peculiarities of each method of transportation, just railway transportation of timber is considered the most optimal option.
